Results seem very slow coming through. If they have only completed one round of racing in an hour and a half, it's going to be a late night. Wise owl will be distraught. They're trying to fix the track .

Quite so Wiseowl; the Palmy track on Monday night was remarkable in the circumstances, and last night's track was first class. I can remember going with you to Meeanee around 1987 when you had the Laird car, and the track cut up like nobody's business. Sounds as though not much has changed in 25-plus years.

Not sure if true, but was told at the track that Joe Faram was excluded because of a problem with engine seals and Scott Miers was excluded because of fault with roll cage. This was what was being said by a chap supposedly in the know.

Anyone know how the guy who got flattened by a head sized lump of track in turn 2 is? We left just as the ambulance finally arrived 10 minutes after calling for one to the infield crew who all just stood looking back at us. And before you ask why didnt we stay the answer is because the kids needed to get home at midnight after the most inept meeting I have ever witnessed. How does a R car get hauled off 2 seconds after going up the wall and getting off it by himself and yet 3 P cars can sit on the track stopped for a total of 11 laps between them? Since when does a B car get hauled off for a right rear flat tyre and yet 10 other cars were allowed to keep circulating by crashing into a wall? How the hell do you sell out of programmes at 3pm in the afternoon before your biggest meeting of the year even starts Meeanee?

How the hell do you sell out of programmes at 3pm in the afternoon before your biggest meeting of the year even starts Meeanee? WOW 4 hours before meeting starts and already sold out of programmes defintely not a good way to start the premier event (2nd actually behind superstock teams) i know i wouldn't be happy without a programme

Can anyone clarify the "causing the red" rule please because I understand turning reds on for fire and when some is on there lid. Why is someone allowed to roll completely over and allowed to continue but when someone comes off the wall or is sitting in the middle of the corner trying to restart. I thought thumbs down was the only way to get pulled off in this instance. Plus having just read the rule was Steiners car in such a dangerous position that the red light are 'instantly' put on?

I am assuming that the reason gates are open so early is to avoid large entry queues ? arrived at 5 and the place was almost packed with heaps of tarps marking early birds territory - why is this allowed at a premier meeting ?. tried to find a programme only to be told sold out hours ago - how do you sell out 4 hours before the start of the first night ? spent the night keeping an eye on my section of the track rather than confidently watching the rest of the racing so I could try and avoid being hit by fist size chunks of clay. results and points took an age to come thru. had to pay for parking which means this event is actually only 3 bucks cheaper than Palmy pricing (so PN not actually that bad is it )queues 6-7 deep at portacoms. some locals sitting with us couldn't understand how they could not be prepared for a full house which seems to have been the case. drivers put on a pretty good show though and we will be back - just a little bit earlier this time - lol !
