was just wondering if anyone else has run there radiator underneath there front cross thats between top chassis rails on a angle? there run on angles on saloon so any reason why it wouldnt work on a stockcar? having issue with room next to steering box and dont want steering box in cab, thanks in advance

I had an old flat chassis ( ex 72 R Lyall rumney VW) that had the radiator slanted towards the front. Worked well!

As long as it's not hard up against the front bumper, has sufficient guarding against concrete / steel objects hitting, and the front beam doesn't interfere with it, I cant think of a reason why it wouldn't work

Hi there - been looking for a photo but have not found a good one, so this will have to do. The OAS team ran this set up for 4 years, and only changed this year as changed the radiator. The radiator in this picture is BIG and tilts foward at the front to get down to the top chassis rail. Had quite a bit of angle, but you can't really see it from here unfortunatly. No problems with it over the years it was used, and in fact radiator is still mint and a spare for the team.
