Agree - that's an impressive list, so much so I'm off to Greyouth Sat night!! First time there and looking forward to it. Do you take the usually foldup chairs and where's the best viewing postions?

Yer bring a Foldup chair, or sumthing soft to sit on, and some warm cloths, incase it gets cold.
top corner, between turn 3 and 4 is a good place to sit, u can sit up nice n high look over the fence and watch the hole track

I've been to this meeting a couple of times (can't remember if it's two or three) and it was a goodie every time. As others have said this year's entry list looks top notch and I'm sure will be a great meeting again this year. If you have never been to GM before and are considering this trip, it it's well worth it.

Should get a group of Magorians from the north island together to make a trip of it next year.... Who's keen ? :-)

130 ish cars is looking like a good meeting all right. Hopefully a couple more mods yet - will see over this week. The superstock field is South Island champs quality with a great split between the two power house South Island tracks . As usual the street stocks and stockcars are packed, and will be full of action.

One reminder to all the drivers is a please charge the transponders - with these big fields back to back it does put pressure on the lap scoffers, and one car without a transponder, or one not charged creates huge work. If you try and turn up with transponder that is not working we will not turn you away, but be prepared for a 20 fine - this May be reimbursed if you want to put it over the bar at the aftermatch!

The post match prize giving is at our new club rooms for the first time at 730 - all are welcome. Wh will have footage of the days racing, and some additional action on hand on the big screen.

I'm Sth Island breed and raised and I've never heard this term..............lol

In Auckland they have "lap dancer's" are these similar ?

Thanks for the kind words team - the old Ipad definitly enjoys tripping me up haha. PLus of course my usual refusal to proof or double check what I have written haha

Just checked met service and thought I should share - the isobar map looks better than this one, though I will definitly take it. Hopefully it being wednesday means it is getting more accurate- fingers and toes crossed!

Today there is sun and wind which will be drying everything out.

Stop trying to cause trouble between me and the lap scoffers Tank11. You will get me sacked.

And it sounds like I may have left a zero off the fine amount - committee are reveiwing whether it should be $200. That way we could pay for the additional lap scorers if required.

Seriously though - no working transponder, no race is the word. As noted above it is on the entry form, now on macgors, and in addition on facebook.

I will keep you posted after the meeting if there is any competitor out there who claims not to have heard this messege at scrutineering on the day! will it be from a visitor or a local is the question??
