Just got home from a very good meeting at Meeanee. HB stockcar champs was very entertaining complete with a brutal final race and entertaining run off for 3rd place. Well done to this class. HB ministock champs were also held tonight and although this is a class I normally have no interest in I have to say that tonights racing was very good, these kids really turned it on and the racing was close and clean. Superstocks were fast as usual but with varying guys deciding to use the bumper to effect passes they were also very interesting - 29b is really showing some pace and a healthy dose of aggression, good stuff. Given the trying weather conditions over the last 3 - 4 days the track held up quite well. It started to get a bit of a rut in turn 1 but was no where near as bad as it has been in the past. All in all a very good meeting, well done Meeanee and thanks to the drivers who turned it on!

Sorry Murray, The supers appeared to be hindered a bit by the lack of grip early on, the 2 Mount cars here did well. I would like to see how 12m would go with a bit more HP, she is a very smooth driver and appeared to be held up by the Flynnes on the corners but their HP gave them the edge down the straights. Both saloon classes had some good fast racing, with a few incidents thrown in to liven things up. Basically there were no hot dog classes tonight.
