"cannot load M3U8. No playlists found in manifest" is the message I'm getting. Barry B Don' panic , there is no stream at this moment. I tripped on to them running a test stream before. I should add , if you're seeing that message then all is probably well.

I want photographic evidence of the mermaids Midway.
I had grave concerns after the first race as the director had no idea, but to the credit of the team they got it together and from race 3 onwards you could hardly fault the coverage. Stream ran well all night and I enjoyed the coverage.
Using the real drivers numbers helped immensely when it came to following the coverage on the live stream. It's a great rule change.
One thing that could be improved was the graphics which included numerous spelling errors and a numerical error. At one stage we had an entire team that was wrong!
Overall though I thought it was worth the investment and I will be purchasing night 2.

The stream worked pretty good for me all night. The camera work improved as the night went on so hopefully on night 2 they will be fully up to speed.
Using the drivers proper numbers was great , no stumbling over who was driving what. What a joy as compared to the last several years.
I still thought the replay function was over used at times, if nothing much of note happened then no point doing it. Some of the replays didn't relate to what was happening on the track a few times too and mixing the Teams graphics up wasn't a good look.
The mobile camera and interviews etc. was a huge plus.
Overall a job well done and I will be tuning in again for night 2 .

Watching from the uk and the stream cut out around 6 times which wasn't ideal, missed the first race completely.... Not worth $50 nz but hey no other to watch it from the other side of the world. First time I've bought the stream for teams racing and i know it's hard for the camera men to know which car to watch when there's so much going on but it's soooo frustrating seeing a hit about to go in.... And they change camera. Too many replays for my liking aswell, we buy the live stream to watch the live action. Okay it's viable when there's nothing going on but when there's a red light I wana see who's being taken off not something I saw 2 minutes ago. I won't be purchasing the second night as it just far to frustrating for me.
On a side note it's the first time I've listened to the palmy comentator properly (normally at the track you can't hear him) and he has to be one of the worst I've heard. No disrespect he's trying his best etc etc but the guy has no idea what's going on half the time. I felt sorry for Malcolm running round giving great insightful commentary just for it to be ruined by Russell.
Just my two cents worth Go the Wildcats

The first 2-3 races had replays with commentary over while results and points were being given in the background - two commentaries for the price of one!!! They got that sorted later in the night, which was great.
The camera with Mal Sines was just magic. Overall the camera work was pretty good after a slightly rusty start.
My steam faltered 3-4 times early, but could very well have been my internet.
110 points out of 100 for the number changes.....except for Nelson.

I surpose one of the good things about being at The arena, is that you do get to see the complete race unfold and are able to read a bit better what the race plan is as the race is progressing. This is the first time in 10 years that I've watched the race from the outside of the oval (normally on the infeild) and in my mind certinaly didn't feel that the racing was 'lack luster'! Except fort the Scrappers, in my mind the racing seemed to be a lot more tactical this year. A lot less drivers are trying to get around the outside.

I have USB and my connection did not cut out all night. Quality was good. The commentator was awful. He drove me mental with his silly tail-gunner quote. Seemed very uninformed compared to Paul Hickey in Rotorua.

Sadly that's one of our best commentators NZ has to offer for our premier event that is beamed around the world! It helps my two favourite teams are out of the running so it's a good excuse not to listen in tonight - so no purchase for me! Life goes on. Hmmm - actuallly I would love the Hawkeyes to win and take out their first champs. Go the Hawkeyes and the Brawlers!

I want photographic evidence of the mermaids Midway. I have grave concerns also ,the photographic evidence wouldnt meet the standards on this sight ,after playing a game of strip jack ,and spin the bottle ,But we enjoyed the live stream once it got going and hope everyone else did ,by the way Percy diving was good this morning no navy patrol vessels about up stream still ,with the fisheries inspectors having a long weekend as most of there employees are celebrating Waitangi .

Stream was pretty good overall, if you were to try and improve it then perhaps
- not sure how experienced the pit gate cameraman was, very shaky at times along with leaving the camera on a couple of times showing grass/ dirt - Was there a director solely watching the racing and calling cameras ? Was that person a 'fan' who could see things about to happen having seen teams before? - Malcolm Sines was working hard, and it was a shame that he ' lost his cameraman' a few times and what he was saying didn't relate to what anyone could see - Commentary is a personal thing, for me its nostalgic that its still the same guy, but it was notable the difference in standard between the prior years highlights to the live (yes I know delays are easier but some calllers are more seemless than others - learn from the aussie cricketers and find some ' fans' in the audience who warrant a little screen time
I'll watch it again tonight as its cheaper than $200 for 4 tickets,

Any cameraman that stands by the Pit Gate at Palmy likely has to certified mentally unstable before they hand him/her the camera. I'm surprised they don't shake more, as probably more cars have ridden that section of concrete than any other at the Meaner Arena (now I'M doing it!!!)

The live Stream was very good and clear all night but agree the commentator is getting a bit like a stretched tape-record. The bit that topped it off was "now you people down below the officials box you must not signal to those cars or you will get your team disqualified" So does everyone have to sit with crossed arms now.

Best thing to do is signal the opposition cars then...............lol. Get them DQ'ed.
