Crushers team excluded for pole line infringement. It seems wellington has done this all weekend. Finals night becoming a farce. Plenty of unpleasant people in the crowd

Plenty of unpleasant people in the crowd who cares if they were doing it all night, the semi is a new race. the refs just need to be consistent with there calls. i think the right decision was made

Christchurch win 3rd. A very hard hard teams race. After the race though Damien Orr pushes Rico Gray in the 8c tank into the fence and then squeezes him in the Fence. The moving rebels team then blocked the Christchurch cars from doing there celebration lap.
The crowd is starting to stir due to the meeting becoming a farce dictated by off track problems with crowd actually leaving before the final.
Huge cheer for Christchurch after their win from all of the crowd.
But tighten those belts up it time for the final

Asher rees win an insane final for the gisborne gladiators. Peter rees taken off for pole cutting in the first lap. Asher Ethan and James lurk in his first race of the weekend did a superb job in stopping wellington young guns from taking it back to the capital.
But again twice the leading wellington car cut the pole line and nothing was done about it.
Despite all the controversy of the weekend we definately got plenty of action both nights and congrats to rotorua speedway for hosting us all. Off to gisborne next year??

The best team racing unit won this years championship "G" , I picked them , and believe the Rees tanks/cars have proven a statement. Next years 'G" versions will have a title to defend. This is good for speedway/stockcars and the promoters.

I think the rule book should be looked at after this weekend. For one how can only an overweight individual be punished but if you cut the pole line once to do a illegal hit your entire team gets punished?

Can a remit be made for teams racing? Something along the lines of: If your car is deemed illegal, AND YOU influence the outcome of a race, your team is excluded? For example, in tonight's racing, Bruce Hardings car being found overweight and his role contributing to the Gisborne teams winning the semi and ultimately the championship, should the team have been excluded? I know Bruce wouldn't have gone out intentionally overweight, and I'm not saying that, just using it as an example.

Well there are no teams racing rules as such so really it's an individual car problem. It should be looked into though agreed

The rulings were pretty hard to follow , if grass cutting was a send off offence then 90 % of the cars racing should have been sent to the infield as it was happening all night .... Offenders who were penalised should feel a bit short changed ... penaltys should be consistant and fair , not in during the last few deciding races.

Offenders who were penalised should feel a bit short changed ... penaltys should be consistant and fair , not in during the last few deciding races. The difference being in a couple of (or three) races the pole line breaches were part of launching a successful attack as opposed to just negotiating the track. Totally agree the number of cars cutting the pole line in turn 1 where I was sitting was extraordinary on finals night. Not sure what was happening down the other end. I wonder if any penalties or warnings were dished out for the more minor offenders

After watching chch win then get, whole team kicked out then mr rees do the same in the final and only him parked up .onr rule for north new one for south ?? Ok this is the best as I can explain it, so hope it makes sense.... A welly car infringes on turn 1 lap 1 and gets taken off. From my POV its harsh but so be it. Just under two laps from home with a welly car leading he is taken out in exactly the same illegal way and losses the lead because of it. The race continues and of course Chch win the race. Now if the race was stopped, the offender removed, the lead welly car reinstated into the lead and given the last lap and 3/4 to keep the lead and the chasing chch car (who was very close behind) the same amount of time to catch and pass to take the win. No problem no matter who won.... But that didn't happen. So am illegal act actually determined the outcome of the race. So really as hard as it was on chch it was the only outcome that could have happened. If it was a back marking Welly car taken out it could be argued it would not have affected the end result, but being the leader you can't argue it didn't
