Hey stockcar teams,our final meet is running on the 16th may(rain date 17th ) This is when we invite the stockcars to whangarei to put a show on for our starved northland stockcar fans. There is a nice trophy,prize money and stirrers money up for grabs,this is it,s 5th year running and getting better each year. To stop the other guy from winning? 85hp engines, drums on the track, some filled with water, steering your oposition into the drums and either seeing them stuck up on top of a drum, or watch the drum explode if filled with water. OK you can't stop progress and can't live in the past. But, what is the better entertainment value? The hit to pass rule that is enacted at some meets sure provides greater entertainment value, a gentle tap does not demolish a car but does please the paying spectators, and increases the skill level of the drivers. |

Well,here we go,due to a track down the road have a club/fun day,were losing drivers for the nationals,A call will be made on Thursday night to run or cancel the stockcars for the event.
