The 2015 Speedway New Zealand AGM is not far away and it's remit year!!!
On this forum we hear plenty of criticism towards Speedway New Zealand and the rulebook so here is your chance to start a debate on how we can improve things.
What remit(s) should be submitted and why?

What remit(s) should be submitted and why? How about when there is a red light for a stranded Stockcar/Superstock if it is able to start up or become mobile within 10 seconds? then it must be allowed to continue

There are hundreds of ideas could be put forward I suspect, some great and some loopy. The trick is to make them "for the sport" or "for the class", not just to suit personal agendas. Many a remit appears in the AGM booklet is disguise.........

I was told our remit meeting was in couple weeks so ive missed the boat. Was keen to see if we can allow an interior mirror in derby cars. Also alomg the lines of the top post about a bit of leeway on the prime cause rule if the ref had red lighted a car too soon and he could restart the race as long as the race had not been influenced in any way.Next year i spose.

Your remit meeting in 2 weeks will be to go through all submitted remits, and to direct your delegate how to vote on each one.

I'll take a punt that Fuel Injection for Stockcars will be back on the menu. Was one of the more intense debates last time round.
Beatle you make the comment "next year I spose" - next years (2016) AGM will not be a remit year as remits are only every 2 years. The exception to this is if a Special General Meeting is called in conjunction with the Annual General Meeting as happened at the 2014 AGM in which case some rule changes may be put forward.
As information is provided by Speedway New Zealand it is my intention to initiate a number of threads to discuss the various aspects.

Certainly with the "Consultation Process" now in place for all but two (from memory) of the classes, remits will be down somewhat on earlier years. This will allow those that do get put forward to be discussed in greater detail, and there's one remit this year I suspect may take as long as all the others combined........

The saloon 4 valve remit is a step in the right direction. But where in gods name did they dream up this 50 percentage rear percentage cr#p. A well built cast iron v8 can exceed this so why specify this? Anyway can't see it being policed, SNZ struggle to police half the rules let alone this stupid one.

I think Percy will want to start off around the Remit 59 mark, Remits 59, 60, 61 should tickle his fancy, Remit 62 is a MUST for Percy, and I reckon Remit 73 will draw a bit of comment as well.
The way I read Remit 59, in a 3-heat championship, we could have "Driver A" starting behind "Driver B" in all 3 heats?!?!?!
