I've heard from a few people that a merchandise vendor at the PN Speedway is getting hounded for already-bought and paid for teams dvds that have yet to be delivered, and after messages to the creator, there's been no word from the person behind the lens who's meant to be getting them out. Can anyone shed any light on this or why Walsh media is letting this happen? Surely this isn't what the speedway-merchandise world is coming to, unreliable service of already-paid-for items?

Is almost three months acceptable?
Better if he was to take his time and then advertise sales, but pre sales should mean a prompt release.
I have had issues before so now wait till mid off season to get the vid and then reminisce during the off season.
It will be a great DVD if history is anything to go by, and this year was one of the best for action. Would like to see just how Bengston done the fence ride, courtesy of the three wheel tank, and still survived. I happened in front of me and I was just showered in sparks and saw the underside of Bengstons machine.
Great times shared with great people every year. The DVD just lets us relive it.
I can understand those that are waiting are frustrated, and Walsh media is not fast, but the quality is good. Not suggesting the wait is justifiable at all.

Don't think people should still be waiting for a Teams champs DVD if they have pre paid! Early Feb is when the event was and with today's tech it should be in the post within weeks not months I would have thought.

i text him yesterday and i asked since its palmys final night this weekend will the dvd be there?
he simply replied not finished yet.
i txt him the day before legends meeting he said not ready but will be there for final meeting..how about stop promising something u cant deliver on and be honest about when the dvd will arrive.
may be time for palmy to contract a more professional multicamera business that does this all the time rather than just a guy doing it as a hobby. 3 months for this dvd is farrr tooooo long.

So guess you can't read the original post... I'd already said I'D HEARD from A FEW PEOPLE!
Please read original post before commenting... and how's posting on here any different to posting it on Facebook?
This was designed to find out if there are people out there in Macgorland who DON'T have Facebook, seeing if they're affected too...

History tells us videos from Palmy are of good quality although communication and delivery can be a tad tardy. I'm not aware of any non delivery of a prepaid DVD . While I agree time is marching on I do think a bit more patience might be the best way forward.
I doubt a 'more professional' production company would be overly interested and I doubt even more whether you'd be wanting to pay an increased price for the product if they were.

I would happily pay twice the price or more for a well produced DVD from a company that actually believes in customer service MacGor.

Fully agree Roger,I know Chris at Video Hub made a DVD of the NZ Superstock Champs held in Wellington in January,it may have been a couple months later when he released it but the quality was of a very high standard and well worth the price for it. videohub.co.nz/Video-Hub/Catalogue/DVD.aspx?FCID=112

We have the NZ Supersaloons DVD from Chris, not only did we get a quality product in a timely fashion, but he contacted me to say when it was despatched and treated me like a valued customer. I won't hesitate to purchase from video hub again.
All I would like from Mark is a bit of communication and we could then try to be understanding as to his reason for the delay.

I would have thought that making the effort to contact the producer of the DVDs directly and getting his take might have been a better option than going public - either here or FB. Whilst delivery might be a bit late, there could possibly be some extremely good reason....but having come on here and made it public, it means the producer is already on the back foot and having to be defensive. Hardly a pro-active approach...

I think everyone has made their point on this issue , thread will be locked for now. Hopefully the goods will turn up in the not too distant future. If not you can bring the topic up again.
If they do turn up don't forget to let people know about that too.
