Ellesmere Raceways last meeting of the season ended on a great note.All classes had good competitor numbers which made for some good racing through out the day.Probaly the best racing came from the combination of the 6 shooter class and the local 6 cylinder sprints guys finally getting together at one venue and entertaining the paying public.Good on ya guys looking forward to seeing it all happen again next season.Also the Adult ministock guys another class we have not seen for a while welcome back.And also the few streetstocks that came out, there might not have been many but you got into from the drop of green.Thanks to all our other regular classes 1/4 midgets,Production saloons,TQs,Modified sprints,and Vintage speedway.Moto X and ATVs regulars did not compete because of prior commitments to other events, but both classes have put on some great racing during the season.This meeting was also the last one before the new concrete wall and catch fence goes in.Work begins on this project in June and hopefully most it will be completed for the opening of the new season.Finally thanks to all the volunteers,officials,club members, workers behind the scene etc and President Rob Roxburgh for making this another successful season.
