So leasing your car out can in reality be better option then wrecking it yaself. It comes back fixed and in condition it was lent out. If drive yourself then you have to repair and the money won/paid might be less then the cost of repairs

Why let some one else wreck it.

Glad they got a replacement. Keven seemed fine at the jetsprints in Mt Maunganui on the weekend.

Great to see "Mad" Dave in the Glen Eagles. From a Wellington point of view it's great to have so many cars and drivers willing and ready. I think the last time we had enough cars to help out another team it was 11w Brian Muzgrove racing for the Bay of Plenty Raiders.

Remember when Welly had two teams there. What other tracks have had two teams there at once Palmy Stratford Welly Nelson ? While I'm asking the trainspotters, has there ever been 3rd generation teams champs drivers? If not can't be far away from happening. Who is it likely to be?

Rotorua Rebels and Rookie Rebels one year. As for 3rd generations, maybe the Penn's are most likely?

From what I understand 207 Ben Hurdman is Danny Wainman's replacement whilst Derek Fairhurst 218 was just a one off last weekend as Frankie Wainman is flying over this week for the Teams.

Financially and machine wise for many to be able to assist another teams inclusion this is an ok option. As said car is leased $$, it would be agreed that it comes back in condition it was provided in, cosmetically and mechanically. Particularly to the UK side. They wouldn't have the machines they have if it wasn't a viable and worthwhile deal. Has a team ever won the whole thing only using 4 of their 5 cars ramjam?

Remember when Welly had two teams there. What other tracks have had two teams there at once Palmy Stratford Welly Nelson ? There were two Wanganui teams in 1981 (future NZ champ Paul Wade was in the B team out of interest) And there were also two HB teams in 1983 (Hawkeyes and HB Allstars) Think that's the full list for completeness' sake
