stockcar racing = most action here,s a scenario I didn,t wish to raise but due to the amount of people attending these events I feel it is important to do so with the weather for this week-end nz stockcar champs looking like crap and the long range for the superstock teams not much better we could have the nz stockcars & teams racing on the same week-end darn

Wouldn't take too much notice of long range forecasts, my experience is they are rarely correct. The long range forecast last week for Huntly this coming weekend was terrible but since then it has been softening with Friday now dry and the possibility of a few showers on Saturday.

Fear not Macgor. I had a chat to the Man upstairs this morning, and both events will be sweet weather-wise

If that ends up being right should be good for the track. Been warm & humid here for weeks now without any real rain

Mmmm im starting to get alil worried about the weather for the weekend just take a raincoat ,an oil skin is the best ,you can sleep on it ,protects you from the rain drops ,keeps you warm and dry ,and most of all a 4o ounce of moonshine will fit in the pockets ..and you can wear it in the grandstand or the street corner..

Metservice's long range forecasts seem to be set to rain by default then as we get closer they lighten up. A day or two ago there was no hope for Palmy Teams with solid rain predicted for both Saturday and Sunday but now as expected it's improving. screen shots
