Bernie fox 42a was off pole. Got into a tangle on the first corner and ended up sitting up sideways on the bumper of. UK car, which flicked him up and over. Gary Lonergan 95a was battling with 2UK cars on the next corner as the Reds came on for 42a being on its side. He was deemed to have hit under red and sent infield. 53a Phil Marx car quit on him on the back straight a couple of laps into the restart. That left 63a Bryce Marx. He took the front out of one UK car, but the other 3 ran around at full speed to take the win.
All the pommy cars came out for the 3 heats. Were quick and putting in some decent bumper work and hits. Given one of their cars is Bengstons ((last years - now with a Toyota in it) and one Ogles ( the CSL Toyota powered 282s) they certainly have some decent gear!,
Can't remember what cars the other 3 are - but definitely looking good for a first hit out. Bring on next weekend!!!

Our Pommie friends looked quick in the rest of the races and seem to understand what bumpers are for - plenty of decent hit to pass action from them. Lala certainly got the receiving end more than a few times in the feature.

Quite rightly deemed so - a couple of seconds and half a straight length after the red in what was a deliberate and well aimed hit at full noise.

53a Phil Marx car quit on him on the back straight a couple of laps into the restart. That left 63a Bryce Marx. He took the front out of one UK car, but the other 3 ran around at full speed to take the win. The blasted wire connector going to the MSD box broke and the wires shorted and stuffed the battery. It was very much unfortunate to loose two cars on the first lap, once mine stopped. Bryce just kept on turning laps, saving the car for next weekend.

I think Bryce was somewhat lucky the Poms felt the same way and didn't make an effort to get a clean sweep - they showed some pretty reasonable skills tonight.

Regan gernofer however you spell it lol, Nik kiser and rob Linton now owns the ex Callum hose 99. So no excuses as they are probably overall the best cars they've had available.

Bring on next weekend!!! I believe one is the Joblin's fourth car and another is a Palmy track car from what I understand, but I'm not 100% sure on that and someone closer to the team can probably confirm that

Yeah, which makes it a bit ironic that the draw has come out with a S vs GB match up! :-)
