A couple of things to consider doing in Palmy while you're in town: "Dust Devils - 85 years of Speedway in Palmy" exhibit at Te Manawa Museum on Main Street, just off the square. www.thesquare.co.nz/palmerstonnorth/Events/Event.aspx?fcid=854742Harrisville - out by Bulls (about 20 minutes from Palmy on State Highway one just before the Bulls bridge) "The 3rd Annual Historic Hoe Down." This promises to be a great two day event with some great historic speedway vehicles doing some laps! Racing this weekend, Saturday and Sunday from 10:30am till mid afternoon. Come out and enjoy Harrisville - the best privately owned track in NZ! I'm not sure of the entry price (if any) but it'll be cheap. There's also the usual assortment of bars and cafe's, one particularly good one that sponsors a few Palmy cars and bikes is "The Daily Sports Bar" on the Square. Safe travels, and if you're out and about please use a sober driver, walk to town or get a cab, it's far safer.

image ruHere is all the details for this weekends after party cheers to Zach Lawrence! Its a Jarrod Lindsay special this year with ALL vip pass proceeds going to the meningitis foundation. Jarrod was heavily involved with last years party and would have been here for round 2 without a doubt, lets make this one HUGE! We have stockcar driver 188r as the DJ (djtonedeff) we will also have a big bbq going throughout the night. These cannot be bought at the track so if your keen contact either Jayden Ward, Asher Rees, William Humphries or Zach Lawrence and we can sort you out at scruitneering in the square or head to the The Daily for purchase as well.
