Not really the result I was hoping for, but I guess the exclusion of 127G is a small consolation for nobody having managed to run him off the end really hard. Again I question whether just sending a car to the infield for an illegal hit is sufficient punishment. If it materially affected the outcome of the race, and with it being his last race in the teams champs I feel that asignificant standown would be appropriate. obviously another sore palmy looser Just what I was thinking. How about until you change your name from salooncar to Superstock then comment on teams racing?

You ppl reading the same post as me or are you so blinded by your anti p chip on the shoulder that your grasp on the English language deserts you at critical times. The post refers to an incident that happened in the Giants v rebels race. How does that relate to p sour grapes? ? If any thing you would have to read R sour grapes into it but it seems like a fair question to ask after several teams were disadvantaged over the weekend from questionable hits

I didn't catch the results of the giants v rebels. Who did win that ? Anyway... The post also referred to wanting to see someone "run off the end really hard" I can only assume that this person wanted to see this so they could see that driver hurt. TBH unless your willing to put your nuts on the line and risk having it done to you, I don't reckon that's an ok comment to make personally. I guess ppl were reading as coming from someone who feels wrong'ed by that driver, so prob a palmy supporter. I dunno if that's right or wrong but I know it was a F*n stupid comment to make and says more about that posters unresolved issues and mental state than where they come from or who they support.

Prefect, may understand he has a firm grasp of the English language - unfortunately their reading and comprehension skills, leave something to be desired. 127g was removed as he hit 321w on the grass. Whether or not it had a bearing on the outcome is neither here nor there. Both cars were blocking and no where the lead lap, so exclusion is prob warranted - if it was the lead car and it changed the race then perhaps the whole team should be excluded. The is an issue for wiser, and more logical people than appear to inhabit this board - even that is debatable....... lol. Anyway long story short. Excellent race meeting and excellent results, that leaves us to dream of next year's edition.

Sorry my bad, it was indeed the Giants v Wellington race bur if you follow the conversation ppl immediately started slamming a certain group of supporters when a valid question was asked that had nothing to do with them, some asked why a G car was removed and whether that was a fair punishment for the indiscretion, nothing to do with p supporters so why do some on here feel the need to slam them for it.
Whether or not the punishment fits the crime is another question, there were a few notable incidents over the weekend that were in the he main handled well IMHO, eg the Hit on 1nz, hemi might sent to the infield, 79p sent to infield, 127g sent to infield and some that weren't eg the jump start in the GB v George and the GB car coming off the grass to damage 126g when he just taken over the lead, neither of which were handled at the time and probably did have a bearing on the outcome of the race.
All in all though most teams seemed to take all this on the chin except maybe the Nelson manager who showed a lack of class with his two comments over the pa IMHO

GB v Giants turning point was Karl doing cartwheels, downhill from there. The rest had little bearing, just didn't regroup. Good race and great two nights.
Well done all teams.

So following on from that logic once the ref decides one team has its nose in front there's no need to panic about sorting any indiscretions? eg once the Abs are 20 pts in front they can just spend the rest of the game offside?
How did it not have any bearing. 126g had just taken over the lead or was just about to and his rear tyre was flattened with an illegal hit.
I understand that the refs have a difficult job to do and sometimes things get missed but when ppl are putting their bodies and very expensive racecars on the line consistency is all we ask surely

Was the dumbest hit - happened on turn one, wildcat sitting very stationary on grass with front right wheel over pole line waiting to rejoin, 52s came along, not overly fast and from mid track made a massive change of direction to make contact - while minor contact was made - and then carried on.

steve jude should of got disquilfied for his hit after the flag, but that would still see the hawkeyes into the final, so that could be the reason for not saying anything, however would of put the mustangs into 3rd and 4th run off and the gaints into 5th and 6th, also barr took a huge hit mid turn two (there are two concers lol) im sure he was knocked out for a lap foot to the foor hence two wild wall rides. think you will find no stering was involed in enither.
