Here we go again.
Your budget and someone else are totally different. you may have all the welding skills, the next may be an accountant who can afford Pee Wee to build and maintain it. So your thinking is he shouldn't be allowed to run stocks?
Sorry, now back to topic?

Maybe not to you, but after talking to a few drivers its quite easy to spend 50k on a stockcar these days. Talking to someone who enquired about these cars, around 50k was the price with a few spares. Seriously?? So if this info is correct do we still have people out there who think the Rees's are good for the sport? If 50k is what they are selling a second hand stock car for then my answer would be a very big NO. A car is worth whatever someone is prepared to pay for it McFly. The mere fact that Peter Rees has built somewhere in the region of 150 cars (including the current 1NZ in the stockcar class) suggests that his end product is pretty good. This weekend has shown just how much punishment a Rees tank can both dish out and absorb.

If you were in Gisborne and seen the Rees and their cars in action you would probably agree with the price tag . The cars were miles ahead of any opposition cars when wound up .. If anyone wanted a good competitive car and had the money you couldn't go past these Rees tanks . In saying that you would also have to match the Rees at driving as well , which would be pretty hard to do . My guess is that they will get their money for them.
