Ive got my diff here (midget) with a stripped bolt hole that locates the brake calipers
We chucked a heli coil in during the season, worked all good
However, now the brakes are off for a service the heli coil came out with the bolt
I tried thread locking it and putting it back in,but it wound out with the bolt again today-not a lot of thread left in that diff hole!
Cant oversize the bolt and retap the hole coz that requires drilling out the caliper mount as well and dont want to do that
What to do?

I would try a Time Sert [made by Wurth]. Ive used them for years & in my opinion are 80% betta than a nuts7y old helli coil.U just gotta find a workshop with the size & kit to do the job. We keep most @ work but we in the Naki. sing out if stuck.

Hate to suggest it but a helicoil with some green loctite and then a stud might be the last port of call mate, otherwise a new side hat.

most engineering supplies stores will heve "Key Locking Threaded Inserts" (google it) just tell them that a Helicoil keeps coming out
