also what revs are you wanting to hit the second before you brake for the turns?, are you running 1:1 ratio in your gearbox or in a different gear? and finally, what tyre size is your largest right rear?

I used to run a 6.71 with a 98 RR, think that was pulling about 7000ish

run a 6.5 ratio and put the 92 on your left. the 6.5 ratio will give the car more speed and you wont need to rev as hard as Hath used to - at the moment its a settle in period for you so just be conservative to start with. other than that it will depend on your car and driving style - best to take pen and paper and write down every thing that you do and changes you make - also helps to have written down the starting setup as well so you know what you can take it back to.

thank you for your advice you have put my mind at ease Try to only change one thing at a time, then you know whether it works or not, not which one worked.

we ran two saloons there for the saloon GP both had 98 rr and 90 lr one had 6.58 gears the other had 6.71 both pulled similar revs to the diff ratios ie 6.58 pulled 6500 rpm and the other 6800 rpm with 6.71
