I noted in the results from last night the Maulers recorded a perfect score in their second race.
Historically a perfect score has been 185 points as teams races were 4 cars per side. However with the advent of 5 a-side Stockcar teams racing, teams can now score a maximum of 195 points in a teams race.
Prior to last night can anyone recall a team scoring 195 points in a teams race? I was trying to rack my memory and can't come up with such an instance. Did we just witness history last night in the form of the first ever perfect 5-car score?

Na. In the dying laps the lead palmy car tried to put a shot on the lead hb car. Didnt work and was cleaned up by a follow up car randle tarrent. Plamy finished with three cars but un reality a coupple were out for large chucks of the race. Palmy did manage 5th and i would expect 6th with hb 7th. The last two are at a guess.

I thought they only got first 4 placings? Correct; they got 185 points against the Pumas, with a P car in fifth place. There are some fantastic match-ups tonight, and I am not sure that we've seen the last upset of the weekend. Here's hoping that tomorrow we are all talking about a great night's racing rather than streaming issues, commentary or SNZ decisions.
