Possibly same as Palmy. Top 8 go through, but only top 4 can win out right. Only a guess though

At a guess, then 1v4, 2v3 and on to finals.
Losers v each other for 3/4 placings and seedings.
Then final.
No 5-8 needed.

Semi-finals
winner 1 v 8 against winner 3 v 6
winner 4 v 5 against winner 2 v 7

lowest 2 losers from quarters race for 7th and 8th place
highest 2 losers from quarters race for 5th and 6th place

Semi final losers race for 3rd and 4th

Points will be allocated only to establish who races for 5th to 8th places but will/should be the furtherest thing from drivers minds and tactics. Winners are grinners

Kihikihi and maulers points seem out, from how they finished.
I have them at 185 and 190.
Was correct when given official points after first round, then they raced each other.
Of which I got 4 places = 180 points total.
Both 20 points higher and yet only 4 places were given out?
