Are those roll cages not exposed? Not yet, by they will be once the Wanderers and Tigers have squeezed them up the wall! The bodywork does nothing to help protect the roll cage, it's just there for decoration, aside from the bonnet which forms part of the firewall, hence cars getting pulled up with no bonnet, but not because their bodywork got damaged

Must be causing a few headaches as there's a lot of talk about it.

those cages look exposed to me, but they do look look good. I suppose we will find out in due course if they meet the rules or not.

I can't see anything in the rule book that would make them illegal. Nor can I think of any reason why they would be illegal. As I said before, the body is there for decoration and provides no safety benefit

So if they are allowed to run, as soon as one of them are put up the wall the reds will need to come on straight away and the car removed from the track because the roll cage is exposed, yes? Just like they do in normal races when cars are taken off for having the cage exposed? So to beat G all Waikato and Nelson need to do is push them up the wall slowly? Lol

As tank has said read the rule in the context it is written, not part of the rule, there is nothing that says you must have a body on the car
