the "shock" team missing out would have to be the Mustangs.
But saying that, who would you have picked not to get in the second tier?
I suppose HB is the spanner in the works to most people.

mustangs were the shock of the night, I had hoped; Auckland, Christchurch or Wanganui, would have been in at least the second tier. The bay were very lucky to get in I did think they left the green on longer than it had been throughout the night - but I didn't time it so will leave it at that. Busters did well, and just missed out by five points - gutted.

Can anyone confirm the points from G vs H? I think the above table (hard to read the top tier because of colour) had G 165 vs H 45. Which is more than the 195 available points.

Hasn't read the rule book. But don't think there is a time on it. 97h and 52b were still racing. Had 5 cars crossed the line. May have thrown the yellow. Everybody talking about hawkes bay scrapping in. But in actual fact it was palmy that did. there really can't be much in it for that 5th place. Palmy were lucky to make it. Not hawkes bay. But that's from my eyes. I feel the riget call was made. Does anybody else. Rememberingredients Regan had no idea that his would be the difference.

Yes, the yellow looked good on the black background on the iPad but isn’t very clear now I look at it on the white background of the phone. Sorry about that. G vs H was 140-55 |

A run-off for third place prior to Sunday night's Grand Parade at 6pm will be required to determine the Tier 1 semi-final opponents, with the loser facing Great Britain and the winner racing Gisborne for a shot at the title.

According to a post on the Facebook 'Palmy Superstock Teams' web-site there will be a coin toss instead of a run-off to determine who finishes 3rd and 4th. That was posted 8 minutes ago. Don't know if it is true or not.

Don't know if it is true or not. makes sense. Two races are hard. But when you got to do 4 extra laps. You could be down to 3 cars for a semi. It's just smart play. Common sense which isn't very common. |
