What I noticed this year is that some teams had their music played while others were missing I enjoyed hearing Hawkes Bays music but missed some other teams being played this to me had some impact on the atmosphere of the whole event during the Grand Parade you used to have your team announced and your music played as you entered now you just all enter now you just all enter and there's no music or anything. part of being there in the crowd is all the atmosphere of the build up and music and everything and there's just nothing I think they need to do better

The atmosphere was very mellow last night apart from one guy on the city bend getting the Mexican wave going,good on him and the teams racing was very mellow from my point of view.The best race of the night was the last teams race Waikato v Hawkeyes,looking forward to better action tonight.

For the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ they charge people to attend this meeting there should slack running of the meeting.
Bruce and co need to tweak things up a bit.

Yep. For the price we are paying and there is no longer any pre racing entertainment but the price keeps increasing. I still wont protest by not going but sure disappointed

Why have pre-racing entertainment? Most of the stadium is now reserved seating and those people don't arrive till close to 6pm. Any entertainment will be in front of 1000 people. Plus due to being practically sold out why would Bruce spend extra money.

I can kind of agree with the pre-entertainment comment, you don't arrive early anymore. But the lack of music as the cars/teams enter the track for their races and/or win their races. And also as they enter for the grand parade. This let down the night big time. this doesn't cost any money for Bruce! LOL But adds to the crowd having a good time, Just spent more money than even last year for our tickets for next year so lets hope they get it better for this years event. Start planning now for the teams music please, you know the main teams that will be coming, even if they don't come it doesn't cost to have the music on hand and not need it.
