Bring the family and make sure you’re in The Square from 12-3pm for an afternoon of solid entertainment before heading to the 2019 ENZED Superstock Teams Champs. With Speedway action on the big screen, great grub, live music from The Regulars, Will Hall from Westside and Palmerston North’s first ever “Mullet Off” competition, you’d be mental to miss it! Free shuttle buses will run from The Square to CET Arena from 12-3pm. No need for tickets, this pre-bash is free and open to everyone." 
Driver meet and greet Manawatu Speedway Club Presents... 2019 Teams Champs Autograph Session Held in the Barber Hall at the Arena between 4pm - 4.30pm Come and meet all the drivers from all 13 teams pick up a poster, bring along your merch and grab an autograph from all your favourites!  |

"The draw will be done tomorrow." is what I was told. I have no idea when it will be released, but will keep you updated as I can - on "The Draw" thread that Mordecai started, and has 4 pages about it and over 5,500 views. Sorry, but I've deleted all further comments about the draw from this thread as there is already a specific "The Draw" thread up for you to discuss, debate, or heap praise upon. This thread is about bits and pieces around scrutineering and things going on in and around the square... Like the fact that at least 3 teams are going to drive in convoy from the square once they've been scrutineered, up Rangitikei Line, down Cuba Street and into the stadium through Waldegrave Street. Should be quite a sight. Also the new seating on turn 3 is just totally absolutely mega awesome. Though the teams might need a another bucket or two of lollies to throw Yes indeed, 13 teams x 5 cars = 65 Superstocks in teams colours rumbling through town would be a great sight for the people up town. But the Grand Parade this year in front of 16,000 fans with all 13 teams on the track at once will be cool too. |

Gisborne Giants: "This year sees the return of the Giants to McVerry Crawford Motors this coming Saturday from 10:30 onwards and all are welcome! Merchandise will be available. Hot food will also be available for $2 and 100% of this will be donated to charity. Sunday the team will be based out at Peter Rees house and all are welcome to come have a look at what’s happening like an open day."  |

Hey, thanks for this thread.
The video of the added seating into the arena looks amazing.
Anyone got any clue of the capacity now?
I guess if there’s any event that could use an additional 2000 seats it would be this one.

Just to note the first part of @goslideways post about the square 12pm-3pm with the mullet off etc and shuttle buses is happening on Sunday and is run by the council. The Saturday side of things is 1pm - 4pm and will include a bigscreen with the commentary team hosting a range of live broadcasts along with the Rock FM doing plenty of giveaways and the BK Prodirt cars on display. Also Sunday the BK Prodirt cars are on display at BK Rangatiki Street. The Manawatu Speedway Club are hosting the Team Champs Autograph session on Saturday from 4pm in the Barber Hall with all 13 teams and again on Sunday at 4pm the BK Prodirt Supersaloon drivers will be in the hall from 4pm again aswell as some teams again. There are a lot of after partys. Here's 2 Manawatu Speedway Club: "Official After Function of the Superstock Team Champs! After the very special Hall of Fame Presentations and a feed in the clubrooms its time to head down the road to the Railway. In conjunction with the Speedway and the Speedway Club we have teamed up with the Railway to make them home to the OFFICIAL After Function of Team Champs! Extra security has been hired for in the pits so you can leave vehicles safe there and walk on down the road to celebrate with the teams of Team Champs!"
