Since I posted an hour ago the stream has been working pretty much perfectly Well what can you do about the rest? can you fix shytty camera work and boring to death commentary? |

I’ve only had one freeze all night so far. I’m happy to pay another $50 tomorrow and even more so if the glen eagles make the top 4

not according to videohub themselves, they're replying that it's all on the users Been in IT 4 30 years+, the pits have more reliable stream (picture & sound). Videohub need to up there c game |

I’m happy to pay another $50 tomorrow and even more so if the glen eagles make the top 4 Yup I prepaid 100 bucks to watch both nights, convinced that videohub would put on an excellent show after the performance of their competitors at the 240s....so far its the 240s ahead by a long long long way, does that mean i wont watch next years??? not like;ly...but i wont expect much more than a saturday night club meeting....who the frikk picks the camera positions?? |

Knowing that it was going to be videohub doing it I didnt even bother getting the stream... Looks like a good move on my part.

Looks like a good move on my part. well it wasnt great or even good to tell the truth but we saw it..hardly any of it was what the commentators were commenting on so that fkd it up a lot..but at least we saw what they captured... commentary is shyte ..dump the whole lot and hire in the A Team |

Well that has to be the worst stream I have ever seen. From blown out highlights to pink, green and orange color caste's. lens flares. Dirty lens! Wireless camera was useless, pixelated, lost data, inexcusable audio, poor camera work, poor composition. cars racing up hill, cars racing downhill, cars out of focus and all from a self proclaimed professional company charging a premium price for that!
And then have the gall to blame the customer!

From my seat on the couch I thought the stream was one of the best I’ve seen only stopped once and just refreshed and all was good yeah audio wasn’t perfect but going with quality of picture was best I’ve had. Think the camera operators could do with a tad better understanding of teams racing so they can see and capture more of the action

If the director and/or vision switcher aren't up to the task you'll be watching 19c circulating with nobody within a hundred metres of him, while the commentary team are going nuts about something happening somewhere off screen. Another problem is so many black cars. The small differences in colour schemes may be visible to the naked eye at the track, but they're not immediately clear on a live stream. It's time the promotion sorted this and make teams submit their proposed colour schemes well prior to entry, and force teams to add more colour so as one team can easily be differentiated from another. The stadium is full. Live streaming is where the increased revenue streams are going to come from. Hell, last night a guy for rolled when he pulled over for a team mate, only to find it was an opponent. Anything that detracts from the viewing experience should be looked at. Too many black cars would be top of my list. It's an amateurish look at what is otherwise a professional show. Barry B |

Not sure what time it starts, but they should learn and go online way earlier than last night and get all the usual videohub dramas sorted well before grand parade.
I think they are getting too complacent, they know people will buy stream regardless of quality as let’s face it, it’s the biggest event in nz and they are the sole stream provider.
It would be like owning the only McDonald’s in America, regardless how bad service or food is the locals will always turn up 😂

The Audio is a weird thing. I ran both streams last night, and admittedly had the sound down on the teams half of the time, but having tuned in prior to the grand parade the sound was only good, briefly, once. It was like somebody accidentally bumped a loos connection and righted things for 5 seconds. The volume increased and was clear, only to immediately lapse back into the standard of quiet and rubbishy. Sprintcar stream running alongside was faultless all night.

If putters where given the option to stream teams champs , $50 videohub or $60 thepits, on current performance who would U choose.
