Just wanted to make mention of the role leadership can play in a winning team.
You need all the parts to win Teams Champs and that includes the manager. I felt Ricky provided a key ingredient to the winning team. Going all out from the start may be spectacular but it rarely wins teams meetings. To put the team on a leash for night 1 and to have the respect of the team to enact that request is the sign of a man who had a plan to win.
So often in this sport we hear from drivers who are happy to make finals, happy to have made the podium or happy to have achieved something for the first time. Listening to Ricky speaking it was clear he had a plan for one thing only, that was to win the Teams Champs. It was clear his team bought into that plan and I believe his leadership was a determining factor in the success of the Glen Eagles.

gotta disagree with some points. like they rebuilt ashers car after night 1 due to damage. would of thought hawke eyes and gissy had less damage going into night two. and the hawke eyes have come along way into professionalism in the last 4 years. in truth most teams have and the panthers have made no gains. cards fell there way. and they made there own luck on night two with both ward and robb outstanding while hawke eyes completed damage. end of the day the best team won and thats what you want to see at any meeting. gotta feel for gaints beat welly and finished 5th. just shows how even teams are like hawkes bay welly panthers and gaints. and how far ahead the eagles are.

They certainly had a good plan in most races, petrolfumes has some videos on YouTube of the semis, they work 991 and 971 did was amazing, no kamikaze hits just good old blocking and slow long/spinning palmy cars. 19c only really got tagged once.
971 has always been fast, but I think now he’s in a reliable and solid car he’s a lot better. His old car was probably faster but didn’t take the hits too well.
Anyways well done all teams that raced and put the show on for us spectators 👍
