Interested in hearing people’s thoughts of the drivers of the weekend and who would make their “Top 5”
1b Randal Tarrant - Executed both blocking and running roles for the Hawkeyes with ease, and came up clutch v the Kings. Form driver this season in both individual and now teams
10r Alan McRobbie - took an absolute beating in his role as blocker, but never faltered and delivered arguably one of the most spectacular hits of recent teams champs.
28s Blair Uhlenberg - really impressive rookie performance. Read each race well and knew when and where to block when needed. Runner skills were outstanding too.
52b Regan O’Brien - the Hawkeyes benefited from Regan reading the race well and blocking the correct opposition lead car each time. A great way and to retire
58p Peter Bengston - back to the old Peter B in my opinion, delivering brutal hits with car and driver performing at a high level
19m Kerry Remnant - also a great teams champs for the 24th on the trot. Always puts car and body on the line and deserving winner of the Spike.

My top 5 standout in no particular order
1 1nzb Randle Tarrant amazing running and blocking pulled out a clutch elimination against 126k
2 84s Haydin Barker his experience in stockcar teams blocking really showed this weekend putting in critical blocks to guide a new look Scrappers to 5th overall.
3 19m Kerry Remnant brilliant driving all weekend and awesome sportsmanship in the 3rd 4th race.
4 144g/31g Tim "BEASTMODE" Ross instrumental in getting the Giants to the final was hitting everything left right and centre. Unlucky for the Giants to not claim the top spot.
5 66a Hayden "Lofty" Hart he drove the a$$ off that tank all weekend read all his races very well if the Allstars keep their current lineup they will go far.

I haven't seen the old Jack Miers this season and think he was quiet compared to other years.
One driver not mentioned so far is Ross Ashby. I thought he toiled brilliant for the Busters this weekend.

My team of the weekend:
Ethan Rees - his drive against the Panthers was every bit as good as his old man's solo drive for the Panthers against the Rebels several years ago. He fought a lonely battle in the final as well. Randal Tarrant - blocking or running, simply unstoppable. Taking out Asher Rees on Night One was probably the decisive move of the weekend. Regan O'Brien - a blocking superstar. Alan McRobbie - some brutal hits in both races, including THAT hit on Darrel Wallace! Peter Bengston - the Panthers will miss him hugely. Reads races better than pretty much anyone, and when he hits you, you stay hit!
Sixth driver: Kerry Remnant - seldom has a bad teams race, and was in sensational form this weekend.

Don't think Peter Bengston has retired, as some have suggested.
