Thanks Tony, will be coming up from Levin. Met Service website suggesting rain late in the evening, 6pm start just may finish before that rain comes in???

The competitor list on Page 1 has been updated again. We currently have 28 Superstocks entered, and a massive field of 41 Stockcars!
There are good field in all the support classes, so Oceanview Family Speedway will be the place to be on Saturday night. Just remember though, it's only October, and it's likely to be a cool night, so dress warmly! Pit gates open at 3pm, public gates at 4.30pm, and racing starts at 6pm sharp.

Sorry if it comes across as a stupid question but with over 40 stockcars will they all be on the track at the same time or would they have to be split in to groups?

They will probably have 4 races and each car will have 3 each. Also there are more V cars hoping to be ready so we'll see what the final count will be.

Correct - the Stockcars will run a four-heat format, with everyone getting three heats. And the night will finish with the Grand Slam. And no, as much as we'd welcome Randy T, he's 1NZB. He came over on Saturday for a skid, and he'll be back tomorrow night.

Wanganui weather update. It's overcast and cool, with a light wind. There might be a spot of drizzle this afternoon, but that is forecast to clear, and there's no significant rain in the forecast. Bring your warm clothes, because it will be a cool night, but the track should be mint for all classes. In the meantime, here's the preview of the meeting in this morning's Wanganui Chronicle.

Ahh well I can finally give up work, tell them I'm in poverty and do quite nicely without even having to get out of bed.

Rammers you never let me down 😂 Exactly the gracious, mature, elevated response expected from your Previous posts and viewpoint. You need to look on the bright side. Act could become the opposition party of choice based on the way it’s going. And certainly Look more youthful than anyone I’ve seen on National so far. Anyone got any pics on their phone to share from Wanganui? You can post a heap at once on this link postimages.org/ and copy and paste the lot in one go, easy peasy

At the end of the day democracy is democracy and the ppl have spoken. Hope it's been a great night in Wanganui and the club have been able to put some coin in the bank by having a good crowd and taking advantage of being the first track in the area to open, and great fields to boot.
