But he was facing the race direction, just backwards? So if he had backed out, he was still travelling in the race direction. No, he was nosed against the wall with the rear slightly pointing toward oncoming cars, he cant attack from that position and cant be attacked either. Can’t find any footage of this incident, a second before the lights went red 24h hit I think 669p who was nosed into the wall on backstraight. Can’t see the 361h hit anywhere, never mind all done and dusted now, and by far the best team won this weekend.

Tony, I cringe at thought of having a commentator just working off the monitors, in fact it's been done before and it was awful. I can see for myself what's happening on screen but I do want to know about the stuff that happens off camera. The way we have it at the moment is the best of both worlds(mostly) and even if I cant see it I can hear that car xyz has come to grief. The type of set up you are advocating for is best suited to post production voice overs such as for TV packages etc. If the commentator worked of the monitor we would miss everythingof camera, at the track we can look around ourselves, the commetator is our link to whats happening around the track, they are our "swivel" but the cameras then need to actually turn our heads to look!!! And if there is a producer i again cant understand why we follow a car that is just going around and not the group that is hitting and going to the wall. also why the cameras dont change quickly after reds to show why we gone to reds, commentators will talk about the crash but we still looking at the stopped cars on tracks. and its not just once its been several times we have watched streams from different events. It might be a case of what people prefer as well. Video hub did exactly the same thing this year at teams. Following the lead car for lap after lap whilst commentators talking about hits happening everywhere but the screen. One race only one car from a team was still going while three cars from other team going, so action was always going to be around that one car but video hub followed lead car for about 4 laps. Neither video hub or pits are perfect but in my 2 cents pits are slightly better, better camera quality, better prices, better at explaining what's going on if the are issues or what you need to do if you have issues

You can’t even compare video hub and the pits.. it’s like comparing a fully kitted out freightliner truck and a Citroen car. Video hub is sh!t and every stream is worth about $3. The pits is worth every cent they charge.

Hit is at 43.06 in first video. Looks to be beyond square to the wall 24h hit him so that wasnt it. I thought i was for attacking the car over the pole line. Which as stu said he did twice. Just my thoughts. Didnt let go at the correct time.

Unless my memory is playing tricks the hit we need was hard enough to spin the hit car around or perhaps the different perspective of the stream camera made it look entirely different. Blowed if I know.

Just my thoughts. Didnt let go at the correct time. The attack I referred to on commentary was at about 39.14 on Luke 15p which I'll happily take that statement back as from this angle Cheets 361h does look to yield and disengage (cant expected to stop of a dime) It did however look completely different from the head on view of turn 1 we have in the box. We never actually were informed as to why 361h was removed I was just lucky to have a staff member in the box at the time with coms on and under the reds he informed me they were removing 361h however was unsure why. Ill admit I battle with the in between race chat but will only get better in time. Once the race fires up or the build up to when the cars come out etc I'm away. The top 5 cars (where 5 finished) and the points for each team from that race were given for each and every race this weekend which I was stoked with as I know that's what the fans want and was the key thing I aimed to do. I know which commentators I can throw to for a breather who will roll on with the show aswell. This weekend there was myself, a commentator who is great on the mic with minimal wider knowledge however done some great homework in the lead up, another who has a wealth of knowledge but is in his first season on the mic and Bianca from the Pits TV who is doing great out and about in the Pits keeping us up to date. Hope you all enjoyed

Watching that, Auckland picked up the white flag. Then got held up in turn 2 where 15p cut through.
By this, one A car should have backed off, as he received the white flag, so was on his last lap and after finishing should not take part in any further racing?
