Think its clear there will be a rule change after what happened with gisbourne and wellington. However ive put alot of thought into it so heres my answer as a team racing fan.
3 tiers to non contacted drivers at team champs. Which are all decided eCh conference as numbers change in the class.
Tier one. No outside club contracted drivers.
Tier 2 one contacted driver from outside club.
Tier 3 up to 3 contacted drivers from outside the club.
The previous champions will always be i tier one as there drivers do not have to travel.
And teams can only select from other tier one tracks. Which is based on numbers as well as distance to championship taken into account.
Tier 1 from my mind would have been:
Rotorua, palmy, Stratford, meeanee and now huntly.
Tier 2 : wanguni, auckland, baypark, welly, Christchurch, Dunedin.
Tier 3 : kihi kihi, gisborne, greymouth, nelson, blehiem, invercargril, cornwell, westport?
But must be looked at every season. Weather or not they can be bothered. But a blanket rule will only have it around the bigher tracks which is something i strong disagree with.
