You are correct. Only the coming 2021/22 is currently locked in while a new option is explored.

Probably something to do with the lack of Super Stocks in the south island for a start When you only have two tracks that can run the events in the south Island, and one of them probably can't unless it's a one night championship, it would seem very petty if that was indeed the reason

At one point during the last 9 or 10 years Huntly had zero superstocks. And had 1 in 2012-2013. But still get the championship in turn. How can the cretia for running the new zealand Champs be the same for supers as stocks when there is less of them. I get the feeling tracks do not want to give up there places in line for anybody. But the cretia needs to be less competitor registered numbers and a increase on racing nights. I would have 6 registered cars and 6 meetings a year schuled. Or even 8. But it needs to be less than stockcars as they are not as common. And every year you fail to meet the cretia you lose 1 place in the que. After becoming eligible like Dunedin did this year. 10 years later they get the right to host the new zealand Champs. Set a clear pathway in. Clear cretia to meet and clear consequences for missing cretia. Its about fair and equal opportunity. Right now its in the power of the clubs already running them. And they have an interest to keep itbthat way. Just my 2 cents from the outside looking in.

Baypark haven't had the NZ superstocks since the 80's, yeah I know they lost their place in the queue (twice) and that was fair enough, but far out tough going keeping traction going in Tauranga! In saying that I love Nelson, have had a great time there at NZ superstocks.

If Baypark were to put up a calendar for the season and actually list what meetings they will run superstocks at, then that may help for starters.

From what I've heard and seen over the last couple of years, Baypark's track prep has been shocking or not up to standard and has proven with the championships they've had and big meetings so I wouldn't want to run a big championship there unless the track prep is improved.
Just what I think, but how cool would it be to see a Superstocks title at Baypark with a good preped track.
