Looks to be a good couple of nights sprintcar racing. Certainly added spice with the NI cars that have made the trip down.

Didn’t go last night but went tonight
Allard did the double, in a class of his own. Broke Wakelings lap record from 2004 last night and the 30 lap final tonight went green to chequer and he smashed that record and won by half a lap. Larsen got the early jump on him but Allard rounded him up and was amazing in lapped traffic. Duff came home 3rd. Highlight of the night would have been Larsen v Allard pole shuffle, cigarette paper between them for a lap or so
Pickens had an incident last night that saw some work being down today to get the car back into action, didn’t finish heat 1 so started from 16 and made no impression and was lapped. He couldn’t walk pre race so huge effort to come down with that burnt foot
Tonight would be the first night I’ve ever been to Ruapuna without seeing a car go over
