Can't see it happening what left of the season.
I'd be happy for Bruce to give my ticket price to give a little.

Was thinking that too, but there’d still be a lot of bills to pay. Events cost and wouldn’t think ticket revenue is all profit.

I can live with whatever decision is made, but it would be nice if that decision is made soon.

From the radio show... Finals not being run and we will kick off a fresh teams champs Feb 2023. All parties involving the ticketing side of things hoping to meet this week to sort that side of it as its not just promotion who as they say clips the ticket. Unfortunatly covid ran wild the week following teams and of course the powers at be caught at differing times meaning no ones been able to meet at the one time. Add to that various other business to tend to and could imagine its been a hecktek time for the PN & Arena management. But never fear its all being sused! Whens the offseason start?? 🤣

Realistically, it's the only decision they could have made. There are at least three investigations underway (Worksafe, Police, on behalf of the Coroner, and SNZ), and proceeding with the re-run would be viewed badly, especially by Worksafe, who have the power under our H&S law to enforce significant change on the sport. In any event, winter is getting closer, the weather is less settled, and even if another date was scheduled, there's no guarantee that racing would actually happen.
The sooner this season ends, the better, as far as I am concerned. Let's close the page on the disjointed 2021-22 season, and start to look forward to a new, hopefully uninterrupted season starting later in the year.

What they must be going through I don't disagree. But the Health and Safety legislation gives them sweeping powers, and puts significant obligations on promoters as far as competitor and spectator safety is concerned. I echo your comments about Bruce, Puk and their team as well. The last three weeks will have been a blur for them, and they should be commended for coming up with a solution so quickly.
