Pretty much went to script with 3 out of 4 seeds going through. Rebels the biggest disappointment in not winning a race. Palmy step in to take their spot.
Some great racing tonight. Tomorrow will be hectic

Rebels won their 2nd race, luck just wasn’t on their side and lost too many cars during races. Wellington dissapointing again, something just ain’t clicking for them last few years after top qualifying couple years ago. Yea sorry to Rebels. I thought warriors got that 2nd race. Regardless for reigning champs to not even make the top 8 is rough |

How did 581p get the extra 10 points when Ashby finished ahead of him? Didn’t matter in the end tho

Let’s just start early anyway tommorow and make sure we get these races in regardless 😎 I'm ready if they started again in about 15 minutes  It was a pretty tame night all round really, as a result of the 14 team format making points so important. And to collect points you need cars finishing, so we didn't see many kamikaze moves. From 14 races there was only one race which didn't have at least 5 cars finishing and picking up points, and that was due to the two remaining HB cars in that race being DQ'd. In saying that, even a tame Superstock teams event is pretty torrid, but what it has done is put quite clearly the best 4 teams in 2023 into the Semi Finals, and none carrying much in the way of damage. And yes, as you've pointed out the back-stories make tomorrow even more mouth-watering. Bring it on. Barry B |

Didn’t matter in the end tho Was 38M DQ'd for parking up on the infield then coming back out to do a big circle and cross the line after the race was effectively over? I don't know the reason, but was he definitely ahead of Dare? They must have both been some laps down. Barry B |
