Potential 4:30pm start tomorrow, announcement/confirmation at 10am. What.... Some people have plans and work They're obviously looking at trying to beat the predicted weather if it's still on target to arrive tomorrow night when they check things tomorrow morning. 4.30pm parade and 5pm race start time so not much earlier than originally planned. All in all a good nights racing. Some good races, some more tame races, but really looking forward to tomorrows finals.
Downsides: - The big screen had a massive black patch right in the middle of the screen most of the night which didn’t help with being able to see replays. - Two fights around us in the half an hour after racing finished while waiting for potential run off, and then down in the pits.

I can see the logic it just sucks for us who have plans for the entire day but yes I'd rather get the races run than have rain cut it short

Not sure if alcohol was a factor but i had words with one of the bars where I saw them selling someone more than the limit. You can only buy 4 drinks at a time, this guy have the drinks stacked up on top of each other and he had 16 drinks. He has purchased, then gone back and purchased again. They said that they can't help if they do that, I said you should be able to tell if someone returns within one minute. It wasn't busy at this time either. If they are just overdrinking and the bar is not watching for people intoxicated then fights etc are bound to happen. I have my bar license so I know the liquor responsibility they should be doing as well.

Which would also be bad for those in the uk and the rest of the world watching online being Monday isn’t a holiday overseas. Hopefully tommorow you don’t miss too much racing and still get to watch majority of meeting.

Commentary days someone was disqualified but crowd and cars made it hard to hear. Did anyone have any info? I sat in the grandstand and the commentary was unlistenable. probably the worst I have ever heard(or not heard) at palmy. complete waste of time.if a good commentator is half of the show(and I think they are), not having a commentary that you can hear, means you only get half a show.racing was good. gavin taniwha is easily the best blocker around. kings ,giants and eagles look smart.whats happened to rebels and ykato?drivers should have their radios in, would have save many minutes of phucking around, makes the show look amateur, watching one car at a time practice reversing !

Can anyone explain the finals? Not sure if it’s changed with 14 teams. Obviously winner of each semi races in the final but is it then both losers race for 3v4 or do 5th and 6th have a chance to make 3rd or 4th?

Scott joblin Taranaki. A couple wrong. He's talking, rather obviously I'd have thought, about where they're contracted to and not where they may reside. I think the only track letter other than "the P" Scott Joblin has ever had on his race cars has been an "A", while I think Shane Mellsop was most recently a "P" before he joined Kihikihi. So I'd say it's you who is wrong there. Not only have the moves made Superstock Teams Racing far more competitive than it has ever been, but the increase in the number of tracks with teams has increased the amount of drivers that are giving teams racing a go. If all of those drivers were still contracted to Palmy, a number of them may never have been encouraged to give Superstock teams racing a try. The fans are definitely the winners. Barry B

Shocking how bad the scrappers were on the anniversary of 30 years, 99s looked scared out there, 28s showing up in the spare car, what a joke, really let down the scrappers legacy

Barry B He said talent that's come out of plamerston north. Scott raced t.qs I'm confident had a s or v then a a before a p. Didn't Come out of palmy north. I'm not sure if Shane raced ministocks before running a b on his superstock. But again. Didn't come out of palmy north.
