Yep, let's change the format for the opinion of ONE fan! Am I one fan or do I represent a greater silent crowd? I guess I am one fan with an opinion here. Yep, you are one fan. Maybe have another with Grindingdisc, so that's doubled your crowd. Keep going, you might fill a bench seat. As for being silent, you just choose the wrong people to complain about it!

Nobody would disagree with you that any New Zealand title is the pinnacle of the sport in each individual class. Always has been, always will be. That is what the finals are all about, not necessarily qualifying (in my opinion anyway). I mentioned Take 1 because the meeting structure was formed around the entry for the first attempt with 6 groups named after six legends of Waikato Stockcar/Superstock scene. Early indications were that Take 2 would attract an entry list of the same sort of quantities, with a number of SI'ers indicating that while they weren't on the list the first time they would be the second time around. Then the ferries started causing problems and a cyclone devastated parts of New Zealand. The exact final numbers for Huntly (which are never known until the day of the event) means five groups would have worked better than six, yes, as would three groups worked better than four at Stratford. But re-drawing groups on the day of the event is not really the way to approach things, for a variety of reasons. I hope Stratford aren't down to 12-13 car grids by heat 3 tonight. Barry B Palmy went from 130 superstocks down to 115. So when huntly got 131 they should have realized then the final number would have been around the 115 mark. We may never see eye to eye. But I do believe for greater speedway viewing experience fuller fields for quilfying night is what I value as a fan. I agree with you that fuller groups are better. What I disagree with, is you labelling Huntly "criminal" for running 20 car groups, but then stating that you're happy to see Stratford running 17 car groups (even though in the post I've just quoted you say "for greater speedway viewing experience fuller fields for quilfying night is what I value as a fan"). Maybe I should just give up trying to understand what you're talking about. Barry B

You would think Speedway NZ would know the difference between a Superstock and a Stockcar,Carl Shearer is driving the 133s. how is carl shearer racing don't you have to do at lest one meeting before you could do a meeting

A bit of trainspotter trivia. This becomes the first season since 2002/2003 that not a single P car finished on the podium at any SNZ Superstock event.
