Qualifying for the Stockcars looked ok with 45 cars on the entry sheet but when only 37 or 38 turn up it ends up a bit lacklustre, especially when 13 qualify from each group and only 15 start the 2nd heat Easier to pick the top 5 than win lotto 😛 Easier to pick than the top 5 at teams champs

Im surprised that they are only running 26 stockcars in the finals but will be running 32 cars for battle of the stocks?
Im assuming its so theres enough cars to give the 10 that didnt qualify someone to race with in the second teir? Instead of only a few missing out

Shame they didnt add another meeting to their early season ending to replace the 2 meetings they cancelled.Would have avoided crunching 5 championships over 2 nights.

Thought there was going to be 4 from a repechage as well. Correct it is a 30 car final Sorry i read the entry form for superstocks not stockcars my bad I think theres only 18 superstocks anyway so its irrelavant Sweet that solves that so only 6 stockcars to miss out

Superstocks
19c 808c 4c
Stockcars
136c 991c 151c
Super Saloons
3nz 8c 58c
Really enjoyed the nights racing, not many dud races in there at all. Thought 54c was very unlucky in the Super Saloon heats, ran a great line and led nearly all the race in an underpowered car and got pushed out of the way in the last couple of laps

Both the 31V streetstock and 252C stockcar were fun to watch they were both not afraid of using there bumpers and putting in plenty of hits.

I was in Christchurch at the weekend, and when my son-in-law suggested a visit to Woodford Glen I didn’t need asking twice. It was an excellent show on Saturday night with the three SI championships (Superstocks, Stockcars and Super Saloons), Streetstocks Canterbury championship and Modifieds. Well run, no long breaks and a good crowd in. Thanks WG, and well done to all those who won titles.

Few monster hits so far in the State of Origin, 1 got tubed halfway along the straight, the car went up on top of the boot and they went straight into the wall together, Blenheim car squashed up to the roll cage
Good field of saloons for the Canty champs, shame one of them is a flog that can’t handle being passed so deliberate spins the other car, hopefully will be driven straight onto his trailer in the pits
