I am selfish now Barry. It is all about me. not bothered bout atmosphere for a crackers night. ( in saying that it is cool to see the kids loving the crackers) Another issue with cracker week it means leaving my dog at home whilst I go to speedway on the big bang night of the year. In saying that they have also started tonight.

I am a fan of getting rid of crackers on all levels. personal buys and public displays. each to their own.

Can always choose to leave before the Fireworks.

I think is great to get as many to the track as can. And if some return and get hooked on Speedway like use. Win win. Great for the sport.

Bring on Saturday night. Baypark always puts ona great show.

Keep checking in on their local paper, Sunlive. Usually has brilliant and thorough reviews of meetings the next day.

Very good crowd. They said 9500.
Traffic in and out was chaos though.
Results:
South Pacific Saloons. Bodie Abrahamson
Midgets: Mosen. (Luke McClymont won one of the heats) pickens challenged the whole way but both tangled with a back marker a lap or 2 from the end. Pickens out and Mosen survived.
Sprintcars: Thomas. Good all night
Superstocks: actually can't remember, but they came out to play last night for the crowd, pushing each other around. Nothing too spectacular except for ? ? ? Ended on his rook in turn 3.
A couple of turn overs in the the sprints & midgets.
A good night's racing.

One question about ticket prices.
How much was it to buy a ticket at the gate?
Online it cost me $30 + $4.20 fee. If it was $35 at the gate, I think I'd rather pay that so all the money went to my local.

There was a time when it was the exhaust fumes from the Super Saloons that made my eyes sore. Now, just looking at them has the same effect. My God, they are ugly!

A great night of Speedway thanks to Rodney Wood and team after the rain they had Friday, the South Pacific Super Saloon feature was good with 49c Bodie Abrahamson holding off Superstock driver 94m Damien Orr,2 Brad Mosen is having a great season so far with his 2nd Feature win this season and 1nz Daniel Thomas was too quick for Michael Pickens in the Sprintcar Feature,of course I loved the Superstocks with 272m Seth Mcconchie stirring in the feature and another feature win to 5m Elias Dykstra and yes the Late Model type super Saloons are ugly,oh well on to the Superstock teams champs at Huntly Speedway in two weeks 👍and I paid $35 cash at the gate 🙂

I will be in the future also. I don't care it costs a few cents more, I hate the extra fees, especially such expensive ones.

Another Great night of racing last night. Track held up well considering the rain that was dumped on it. Credit to Rodney Wood and his team.

Great to see a huge crowd.

Thoroughly enjoyable night.
