I think its been pretty cool to see the next generation of young Midget drivers come on in the early stages of the international series,
Mitch Fabish had been awesome so far, and deserved his podium. he tried every restart to get passed Buddy, Luke McClymont won a heat last night, and looked pretty good in the feature too until he rolled, and Alec Insley has looked good in both outings,
no surprise all are 2nd or 3rd generation drivers,

Also Shayden Austin pulling in and passing Pickens in a heat race to take the win. Not sure the last time that happened but Pickens doesn’t get passed for the lead often and give it up in a heat race

Yes indeed great to see the young talent coming through.
Ben Morrison stepping up from Tq's also doing very well.
Very impressed with Austin and Insley. These young guys can certainly challenge the big guns.

Been Highly Impressed with both Alec Insley and Mitch Fabish. Insley just his second season in Midgets really showing more established racers how good he is.
What will be interesting week out from NZ Midget champs is North Island champs baypark. with obviously plenty of big names be missing either at Chilli Bowl or still suspended. gonna be new name on the trophy. would be keeping eye on performance of those young guns.
