Larson Chili bowl is over.
Upside down in the heats no way he's coming back from this.

Tom Harris Chili bowl is pretty much over after 3 laps. Mosen got the win and 105 points. He will need 120+ points from.his qualifier to be on the front row of the A-main Mosen is in the same position Pickens was on night one. Highly unlikely he would make the front row even with an A-Qualifier win as others have more opportunity to gain points. Will need to find some pace as the night continues, had two guys on his tail by the end of the heat. Those guys whilst being good drivers are probably not going to be contending for the A-Main win tonight. Traditionally need around 226 points for a front row A-main start. Still well achievable for him to lock in tonight or finish up front.

Larson Chili bowl is over. Upside down in the heats no way he's coming back from this. In 2015 Larson came through from the prelim night C-Main and won his prelim A-Main Will be a tough proposition to repeat that feat with the quality of tonight's field but this is Kyle Larson, normal rules don't apply!

Yea if there's anyone who can do it it's him but going to need a hell of a run. Mosen off 4 in his qualifier so can gain a max of 115 points which would get him close to the front in the A

It's going to be tough for Brad
Tim Buckwalter and Karter Sarff off the front row. Both are quick and will be tough to pass, plus he has to worry about Ethan Mitchell and Spencer Bayston behind him.
It's a much tougher A-Qualifier than Pickens faced earlier in the week.

On paper Pickens definitely had the easiest night of the week.

Not a great result for Mosen going from 4th to 7th
Really looked like he was struggling with the car

Ouch - 53.5 points for a total of 158.5 TRD you might have a better idea around the A-Main cutoff but I imagine that will see Brad in a B-Main

Grid 4 in B-Main #2
I don't know any of the drivers around him so fingers crossed Brad can make his way to the front. Top 4 to the back of the A-Main.
Larson starts grid 13 in the same B-Main as Brad.

This looked to be toughest of the 5 groups when you had 2 former chilli bowl winners. well as Brady Bacon, CJ Leary and Spencer Bayston. name just a few.. Brad finishes 13th or 14th. put him into I Main.. Alphabet soup night..
I Mains (10 Laps)
There will be two I mains, with 16 drivers in each I Drivers finishing in their Preliminary night B features in positions 13-14 will qualify for the I mains Six drivers will advance from each J main to the I mains

The fairy tale is over Larsons out after stacking it into the wall and flipping half way through the A-main

Great run for Bayston to take the win, Thorson second locking it in as well.
Also add only a single Esslinger made tonight's A-main finishing 18th

Great run for Bayston to take the win, Thomson second locking it in as well. Also add only a single Esslinger made tonight's A-main finishing 18th Thorson was 2nd and Chase Johnson 3rd. even if Bayston hadnt qualified through prelims . still would of been field for saturday. now he gets better run with pole shuffle pill 1-5.

Final night of prelims see justin Grant whose won 5 of the past 6 Friday shows. up against Logan Seavey what match up that will be.
Go Jason Mc Dougall like to see Esslinger make the field of 24.. i know long shot would be great though.. if 19 year old Mopar Engine can then why not lol
