Quiet a bit of carnage in this race ,Johnathon Allard looked the man to beat ,how ever that wasnt the case . Bit of carnage is understatement. only 5 cars out of 20 making it to finish. with Brindle running out of fuel and Daniel Thomas basically the same manage just go across finish line 3rd place. Allard not great night DNF his first heat, won repecharge and crashed out Feature. like many others too. Pickens banked another 5k following on from his win Midget recently. back in Sprintcar first time since Dec 16th win waikaraka park.

Track looked pretty good, and no dust! Daniel Thomas showed why he carries the No. 1.

Track looked pretty good, and no dust! Daniel Thomas showed why he carries the No. 1. The track is average at best 1 lane race track. Follow the leader type track.. yes I get they had a little weather interruption but before the weather the track was rutting up in middle so if you got 2 wide the guy on outside had to back out plow through the junk and then back on gas.. I would happily sit with the dust if it meant a wide race track with at least 2 lanes , top and bottom that are fairly even.. daniel is very good driver in general and really deserves 1nz
