They didn't quite see it this way, had firms name on car hence advertising firm. Entitled dipsh!ts who ended up with next to no consequences for their actions except for damage to any reputation they may have had.

SNZ needs to ban them for life from any involvement in the sport. We don't need any guilt by association claims being levelled against us.

It is rather sad when you read stories like this .Some people have a weakness and obtain funding the best way they think is possible .often never reaching out and asking for help . I know of many cases where this activity has occurred and not bought before the courts why because it involves family ,relatives and such like . These two are like a couple of apprentices at the game ,there punishment is a slap on the hand and a wet bus ticket ,it will blow over in five minutes and the company they stole off should have had a better accounting practice .
Some of your best people can betray you under your nose , No winners in this ..

Matter dealt with in the appropriate way. Forgive, forget, move on, Let him (or her) who is without sin cast the first stone.

reading the article, two things stood out,(1) they missapropriated/stole money. (2)they paid it back.> if it hadnt mentioned speedway, we wouldnt have known ,or cared, about it.the fact that the waikato times used stock cars in the headlines is a double edged sword.a hook and a swipe.

I knew it: speedway including Macgors, is officially declared an addiction "Addiction is defined as not having control over doing, taking or using something to the point where it could be harmful to you"

While it is disappointing to see our passion, Speedway used as a headline in this theft as a servant case, Waikato Times and other print media are consistent in their reporting of such incidents and report what habit the culprit was feeding that needed funds beyond their means,e.g. drugs, gambling, life style etc unfortunately this occasion it was speedway. Employers must lose their distrust in people from such incidents as usually committed by trusted close associates.

Honestly the business needed a car transporter.... etc etc The IRD DOES Look really hard especially if you claim more out of your business than it is registered as And if they become suspicious an AUDIT of your books is required ,then the smiles on your face on how you got away with it are soon wiped off . Spinning the dice is not worth it ,even the best in the business get caught and pay the price ..
