Was a good ride down ,good meeting at Palmy ,both Mosen and Allard went well while a few others struggled was a cold evening for us well tanned kiwis .. Harris ville ,to me was a little boring ,these heat races where you have the hare and the tortise, and 10 cars non appealing with a rusty old historic racer at the back luckly he retired thinking the faster i was ,the slower i am .. Mr Plod was present at some of the smaller towns checking on the usual things , and suspects ,even in TAUPO at 3 in the morning ,funny how they dont have a good sense of humour on such a chilly morning .....

Harrisville was by far the best meeting of the year. that Taylor allard Larsen battle was so good the track surface by far the best in country couple lanes a big cushion plenty of passing opportunities western springs Baypark could learn a lot from Harris in his track prep method hardly any dust and dam good racing

I guess you havent been to many meetings this season Time trails was a one lane track with heaps of mud even shown on cars . Being a once every easter show ,you would kind of expect a good track ,having 12months to get it right ,you hope ..

Being a once every easter show ,you would kind of expect a good track ,having 12months to get it right ,you hope .. ive been to a few including races in the states and Aussy this year and im not sure what you were watching but time trial was definitely 2 lanes bottom and middle was definitely a good track for time trials as for racing guys were throwing slide jobs from the first sprintcar heat, so im a little unsure what you were watching.. yes the track really really early for warm up for vintage was a bit heavy but they did an excellent job cleaning it up and credit to them guys.. but pretty much time trial on was a good race track.. slick couple lanes and a big old cushion by far best surface in country that track was up there with Woo quality i preparation and High limit (I was at Volusia and East Bay, ad perth motorplex ) maybe you were somewhere else i guess..

Sometimes when the Lift doesn’t go quite to the top, I guess we could call it Midway do you think? 😉

I don't mind some friendly niggle between posters but the more direct insults is where problems start, particularly when it's a new sign-up.
You're more than welcome to discuss the Harrisville track + meeting (I wasn't there and don't have an opinion) but please state your case rather than resorting to insults.

Just imagine if you had no one to pick on ,MACGORS would be a boring forum ,with the travelling cowboy who reminds me of the Milky Bar Kid on his horse Tonto and the other from the comic strip of Garfield and PEANUT, yes they have a good resemblance ,we are bound to hear from them at Ruapuna for sure dont you think ..

Disappointment for a life long friend who once again got back into the seat of a sprintcar ,but only lasted two races before the engine expired May be a bolt let go in the bottom end and letting a piston go through a valve ,but a closer examination will reveal the truth ..

Yes pretty sure Rodney helped Stan when the rain came down when the 240,s were on trying to get the track back with the Baypark blower machine if that's what you mean 🙂and Stan is a track master as well 👍
