Does anybody know the history of the 78A (9A at teams) superstock of Daryl Clarkson. I think he first had it out at the end of last season. It has the look of a Pat Westbury car, running a chev, possibly the 68R car from a few years ago. Or is it a Hawkes Bay car? It does sit higher than a Westbury, but a new roll cage would do that.   |

im not sure. the old 68r ian elsworth car went south to paul dowell i think (nelson) then to palmy with craig humpries.If it is a westbury chasis it could be shane comer's 75 r.I think that used to be a chev

Yep its the ex 75R Westbury/Chev Superstock. Very nice car thats practically new given Comer hardly ever got the chance to race it.
Daryl Clarkson (Brother of Midget 75A I believe) made his debut in it the 2nd half of this season.

yes pallmall you are right and he brought and raced the ex 38a stockcar of Maurice Pene's a few season's ago he didn't buy it off Maurice but off he guy who did before going to superstocks.

That is not it. That was Shanes previous car which is a Gordge. Was the ex 87a of Cliff Wrightson which was the bowater/Neild car before that |
