Hi there, Remember when you could find a line up off super saloons each week at most tracks around the country, especially at the old Baypark over the holiday seasons The days of Sloman , Quin , Savell, from palmy, Skinny, King george , from stratty, Jennings , from auck , Reid , from welly against the likes off Bayparks own Cowling,Fletcher,Waddell,Sutton,Beaumont ,Fillingham and many more, and the racing was hard fast and a hell off a lot off fun.... I remember the Savell and Sloman kids running roit at the local camping grounds....lol Will those Super Saloon daye ever come back ?

Someone should ask Mr Savell if he remembers putting a go-kart over the wall at a fun park in Rotorua at the NZ Stockcar Champs circa 1985 - the driver behind him does not forget it Hmmm.... I seem to remember that too ;D ;D asked for another go to as the money spent wasn't worth it for only half a lap !! ;D ;D ...That was the day it was dammed hot..and unfortunately I witnessed the Palmy Promoters impressive body tatoos. Never knew he had that many ... terrible sight !! But it was all worth it as 3P won again.... back in those days OSH wasn't around either...good stuff !! ..... ;)ahhhhh the memories
