wicked Krizo that chassis was quite the dominator!!! where did it go after that mate? raced it most of 1994 season.....towars the end of the season we had a bloke called frankie waymen jnr drive dave tennants "a grade" car in the same race as us.....he spun in front of me and i hit him in the side,i backed up but then got hit hard by steve cargill (59a),,,it bent the rear of the chassis ,i was gonna fix but the next week, dave neal blew the engine in his car,so i bought the ex ricky kwok car that dave ran and ended up givin the chassis to a mate of mine from dargaville to repair and race up there....it sat in a paddock and rotted away.......and that was the end of that car.

That doesn't mean it's true. However I was meaning that Kelvin would not have a Gordge as his own car. As for if it's true or not that will remain to be seen. Also Kelvin still has the car he won the NZ Champs with.

Any idea if its a new owner, or just the owner wanting a new driver?
Car was certainly dynamic with Wooten behind the wheel - well, when it was racing anyway.
I guess the marriage makes sense when yo think back to Kelvin winning 1nz with a CSL motor.
Would be interesting to see if he would turn out for the Khikhi kings

Your right the old Gordge certainly found some life with Tony behind the wheel, shame he didn't spend longer in the class. Though I suspect his 'aggressive' driving style wouldn't have endeared him to some of his fellow racers.

this is the 47a car, just new body style, colour, and now running a holden V6, just had a couple of seasons off. ''Mike Barnes'' Barnsey owned it when pictured as 48a in wellington. i also owned the car on trademe (the 46a picture) and sold it to a guy up in dargaville. he was to have it racing this season but??

I think a new 46P will roll out onto the track sometime next season, but then he has made the most of his guest drives the past couple of seasons. ;D

He may be a bit delayed in getting it out, I've heard he has had another lot of heart attacks in the last month.I think he needs to relax for a while, he's obviously been working his backside off! Best wishes to him and I hope he recovers soon
