Yeah Matey hes still got a car and is based in Nelson. I dont see much of 'FIGJAM' but see his family about periodically. He bought Darren Greys first T-Mac Chassis from ChCh last season but I think work has him cornered at the moment. Busterbell answer here as soon as the NZ Title is over and done with.

aye er wat?? yer um had one meeting last season at eastern states and hasnt been seen since. did actually attempt to make inquiries the other night but convo got diverted to basil (the jones variety) and progress on the 8n super ;Dsaloon. due for xmas but having some issues. wasnt actually aware that mccabe was back after bein based in tauranga for so long. hmm perhaps the motion of rolling in a stockcar is just not the same as the open seas. ;D ps 48n brett nicholls has the ex mccabe ex waka machine but thats another story. lets just say it still looks good at the mo. ;D

just to say that i saw keith in buxton u.k. (some time ago). he was having an outing in an f1 on tarmac for the 1st time. i asked him how he was feeling about racing on tarmac?
i had to laugh when he replied "very confident, i've been watching loads of videos"

``Very confident'' would be Keith's motto in most things. The ex-Zane Chinnery car that Autopete refers to was a big step back from the ex-waka or the Kelly chassis car that Brendan Higgins had and sold to Brian Stanaway but sometimes you have to run what fits your circumstances.
As an aside, all reports have the Stanaways ready to roll in the ex-Hig Toyota, looking fabulous and running Midwest Motors power.

Agreed there Pete. The old T Mac chassis served Darren Gary very well and has had some Drivers with serious CVs since. The likes of Kerry Remnant and Messers Stanaway have done their careers alot of good in that car. Dont know why Mr Chinnery got out of it as he was making a name for himself in it with some very mature drives. Just got a PM (from someone who wishes to be anom) to ask what I meant by calling Keith 'FIGJAM' Here goes, F#$k Im Good........Just Ask Me!!!!! As Tots said "Very Confident" sums our Keith up very well. Nice guy and very confident!!!!!
