THanks to everyone who has posted - this is a super awesome thread, and hugely recommend going through the precvious 9 pages if your interested in the evolutino of stockcar racing. The main pioneers of the spaceframe chassis messers Kuriger and his former employee Gordge are well represented, and there development of cars through the lates 80s and early 90s had to be seen to be beleived. As an aside, this car is advertised as an early gordge at the moment, and I certainly see some similarities in the DNA ina couple of cars that have been posted. I think the 66s car of Craig peirce may have been of the same ilk, but havn;t seen any from the LH side to confirm. I think its the top chassis rail that looks consistant. Any historians out there hazard a guess about the 39gm? I had heard its history from Nelson, but understand it was bought to Nelson from the HB. I don;t know if it was origanally raced in Stratford at its birth or not. cheers

Stratford 1965/1966 or probably 1966/1967.
A couple of those cars were purchased by the Waikaraka Park promotion prior to the beginning of the first season at Waikaraka which began December 1967.
