Does anyone have any pics of Kuriger 19, built and raced in 1990 by Brendon Rowlands? Then went on to Paul Urlich in the mid 90's. I believe it started life with a Hemi 6, offset.

It looks very similar, but the only thing that makes me wonder if it is or not is on #19 the chassis goes horizontal just past the over rider lay back bars: The r/h top rail looks to be original but there is every chance the car has been chopped and changed over the years

Clive/Pallmall The old girl was built for Brendan for the 1990 NZs in Stratford and raced as 42s., Hemi powered Doug Nash box , bonus diff and a real ugly Holder/Sweet power steer setup. Was similar in design to the Paul Woods owned cars than Graham Barr (38s) and Greg Johnston (39s) raced with much success.
I am yet to see any photos anywhere for this car except in the dirt track mag about 1990/91, in the for sale section. Car was for sale for a long, long time. Ended up siting in a shed for the best part of 10 years, until Paul decided to un-retire himself, and brought it.
Paul done about a season of racing, started to get the serious again, until the Hemi developed a conrod problem (two went missing somewhere between turn 3 and the start flag at palmy), this is when the Toyota was fitted and the major changes where made to the L/H side of the car to accommodate the Toyota.Paul raced up until not long after the NZs in Stratford, I brought the car not long after that.I owned the car for maybe 4 years and only raced one season.
I would say even the the car is 20 or so years old would have done 6-7 seasons racing at best.
The car Pallmall posted above is the car that went to Ross Martin, Greg Johnston, Shane Penn, Steve Jude-Steve built the copy that went to Mark Osborne ,and onto the Francis Brothers. Have no idea where the original chassis ended up.
Built at a similar time , and similar design , but not the same car. This was a golden period for Peter Kuriger, his cars where the ones to beat.
On another note, does anyone know where my first Kuriger has gone? Last I had heard it was in the naki somewhere with an EA falcon in it.Vernon Broadmore then Daniel Read owned it, and I lost track of it after that.
Also where has the John Booker 25s BP Kuriger ended up, once again last heard of with Steve Jude in the Bay/Bruce Ward in Palmy.
I know of some people that may be interested in restoring them, need to find them first however.
Cheers, Dave

Teach me for not checking my Kuriger data first! So, this must be the car in about 2001? Did Trevor Mason drive it at some stage a bit later? I think I recall a photo of 41H that looked pretty similar. I must have some other photos of it as 41S.

Trevor Mason raced out of Stratford at a later stage after Paul's retirement I think, I'm pretty sure the car you are referring to was a Tony/Craig Richards Chassis (may have been the Brian Bowater Chassis originally) with a CSL Toyota , Blue Chassis/Black Body with yellow stripy things,41H then 41S then sold or broken up (another MIA car) Trevor then emerged a year or two later racing out of the bay with the MBY chassis - maybe the running gear went into the MBY car?

Great to see these cars then and now. Anyone got any pics of Darcy Trewick(sp) or Terry Loving?? I remember seeing them both driving, in Terrys last season (I think) a red white and blue USA inspired car.

I think it was about 2001 when Trevor went from 41h to 41s for teams racing, and as there was already a 41s (urlich) when they returned to the club, that is when Trev went to 81s. Paul still raced for another coupla years.
