Yes the 26h car was owned by Wayne Fenton in that last shot, but was driven by Phil Dove in the Wanderers, the next shot above that, the 67h is John Van Amsterdam himself when the car was new-ish, this car now is in the hands of 77h Kevin Ngakai.

As pallmall stated my current car is indeed the car once owned by Steve Park 96H. At a Quick glance she looks alot like a MBY Chassis. Not alot of the old girl is still the original car as I have replaced alot of the old steel in the off season. Is a nice car to drive and has oodles of room inside, vanamsterdam certainly knows the ins and outs of building a Stockcar. This is the 2nd Vandm car I have owned and maybe a new Vandm car will be next!

Well there are about four threads on Van Amsterdam cars now, but lets revive this old thread and see if we can sort out some of the cars and find out some histories. 96H Steve Park car. 1995 1996/97 1997/98 1998/99 2000 or 2001 2008

The 23h car is now in the HB.

From the 5M thread, I know this car is not the McLeod 33H car, as the photo below of 41M was taken in 2001, and I have seen it in earlier photos, the 33H car was still around in 2002. Photos below from Gregobro. Now possibly for sale as a chassis, see 5M thread.

33H Callum McLeod car, it is suggested that this went to Taranaki, and then to Christchurch. Can anybody confirm, photos would be good. 1999 NZ Champs Huntly. 2000 at KK. (IRA photo) 2002

The above said 28h of Glen Drabble was not built by Van Amsterdam, it was built by Greg Jorey who copied of a Malcolm Bear chassis.

The Lala 23h numbered as 25h above went to Roger Lord in HB and then Brendan Hughes I think as 22b. I think Scott Redfern had this car early on as 61h also?

No rotoholic that 88h is Justin Hutchby, the 88h i'm talking about was from a few years back now, Murray Vincent. Murray Vincent did race a Van Amsterdam car one season, it was owned by Colin Ashton 21H he won the Standard Stockcar Champion of NZ in it.

Thanks Haydin484S for the photos, would you like to add some more info, like when and who you got it from, what work you have done on it, when it was sold, etc.

Another photo of the ex Parkes car when Tony Wooten had it as 71H. And I throw these photos in of the 888/88R car from 2002, and guess that it could be the 96H/71H car.

Yes Dean does still have it, and was hopeful of getting it on the track this season but for one reason or another hasn't been able to get there. Might just be waiting on a seat now I think.
